Al`lu`mette

Origin: French | Meaning: Matchstick

At Allumette Candle Co., our mission is clear: to craft clean, beautifully fragrant candles that empower women survivors of human trafficking and domestic abuse.

We combine our passion for elevated candles with a driving purpose: to empower women survivors and make our world a better place. We believe that when she thrives, we all thrive. Inspired by the purity of nature and experience, our candles are designed to spark joy for you and change her world.

Our commitment to sustainability and clean ingredients is reflected in every candle we create. We use 100% soy wax sourced from U.S.-grown, non-GMO, pesticide-free soybeans. Our fragrances are phthalate-free and infused with essential oils to ensure a clean burn. We use recycled glass jars, cotton braided wicks and paper products. Each candle is vegan, cruelty-free, and toxin-free, with a burn time of up to 50 hours.

Allumette Candle Co. offers a uniquely scented line of botanical candles, meticulously handcrafted in our Boston, MA workshop.

We take pride in our artisanship, product purity, and purpose. With every purchase of Allumette Candles you can enjoy beautiful fragrance without toxins while raising funds to bring hope and help stop the exploitative cycles of human trafficking and domestic abuse.

Our Founder

Meet Beth, a travel, nature and clean living enthusiast. Born out of experience walking along survivors and life-long passions for candles and ending oppression, the vision for Allumette began to take shape. In 2022, Beth decided to take the leap and use what was in her hand so more women could experience freedom and thrive.

A dual citizen of the United States and Luxembourg, Beth is a classically trained violinist whose performances have taken her around the globe.

When not burning 30 candles at a time, she can be found in the beautiful outdoors, empowering survivors or working on product development for Allumette Candle Co’s collections.
